Government commends Development partners for providing vocational skills to the youths

The director of technical and vocational training in the ministry of labor has commended development partners for providing skills and knowledge through vocational training to young people in Ntchisi district.

Aubrey Matemba said through the training, young people will be able to start small scale businesses and create jobs among themselves.

Matemba said government alone can not to establish programs that can include all young people in the country, but with support from development partners, the livelihoods of the young people can be uplifted.

Norwegian church Aid, Dan Church Aid together with EAM TEVETA and press trust, are providing trainings in motorcycle mechanics, welding and fabrication, capentry and joinery among others.

On Thursday, 188 young people graduated after finishing their 3 months training which started in November last year
